its cheap, has lots of options, supports multiple formats and its easy to use. You couldnt ask for more.

Long term reliabilty is an unknown factor though its going good for me after 15 months.

If you are prepared to try it yourself the manual is not required you can easily work it out with a bit of practice. Why pay double for a 'name' brand when this will do all the more expensive HDD + DVD recorders will do.

value for money machine, region free DVD, heaps of features, can do all that the more expensive 'name' brand Hard Drive DVD recorders can do, can play off mem stick or ext Hard drive

some question on reliability compared to 'name' brand HDD + DVD recorders, manual not comprehensive but controls can be worked out with a bit of trial and error
