Panasonic DMP-BDT260 review

Attractive and good value Blu-ray all-rounder with Wi-Fi, 3D and Netflix.

Good 2D & 3D images ; Netflix ; 4-second disc loading ; MKV playback

Panasonic's budget Blu-ray deck does the basics well but falls short of greatness

Eye-catching design ; Slick Home menu ; Improved internet apps menu

Build quality ; Limited internet content ; Sluggish DLNA performance

A likeable Blu-ray player with some pleasing features and eye-catching looks, but similarly-priced rivals offer a bit more for your money.

The BDT260 is an impressive new entry that flies the flag for great picture quality

Sharp and detailed pictures ; Stutter-free motion ; Impressive upscaling ; Punchy, dynamic sound ; Compact build ; Neat, practical remote

No display

The BDT260 has been worth the wait. The player’s only real snag is its lack of display.
