Panasonic DMR-EX768 review

Panasonic's recorder skips on the multimedia gubbins but performs well

AV performance ; Sensibly-featured HDD/DVD recording

No analogue tuner ; DivX support or infra-red control over STB

A great performer and some nice features make this an appealing DVD recorder

Panasonic DMR-EX768 DVD/HDD Recorder

Hot on the heels of his glowing Panasonic DMR-EX78 review, Danny takes on the cheaper DMR-EX768.

The 279-hour maximum recording time offered by the 160GB hard-disk should suffice for casual TV viewers, particularly those that prefer to delete programmes after watching them. But serious couch potatoes and hoarders might want to consider the 250GB...

Panasonic DMR-EX768 review

Another solid recorder that delivers fine TV pictures and faithful recordings, although some rivals have the edge when it comes to DVD playback

High spec ; excellent digital TV pictures ; good recording and playback quality ; full-bodied sound

Some noise with DVD playback ; interface slightly tiresome

A solid recorder that delivers a good picture and great recordings

Panasonic DMR-EX768

Excellent AV performance, features sensible but basic

No analogue tuner, set-top box control DivX playback

Panasonic DMR-EX768

Great product, great features, can't live without one of these machines once you've had one for a while

I wish that they'd bring one out with a built in BluRay player, save having to have another box on the shelf
