After many years, the DVD-A120 is still up to the task.

I purchased the Panasonic DVD-A120 at a local pawn shop back in April 2002 as my first set top DVD player. At that particular shop, I auditioned a Hitachi DVP-250U, LG-made Zenith (I forgot the model), and a Samsung (which I also forgot) - mind ...

Panasonic DVD-A120 DVD Player

Whatever Pros it has, they are outweighed by the lack of performance.

Stopped reading my DVD's at about 1 1/2 years!!

Short-Lived Enjoyment

This is a low-end DVD player that I bought last year online. Unfortunately, I have never been completely satisfied with it and after owning it for 367 days it completely bite the dust.

Poor reliability and service

Panasonic DVD-A120 DVD Player

The Panasonic DVD-A120 is last year's model, and if you find one of these for sale, you should expect a substantial discount from its list price of $399. I'd certainly suggest not paying anything near the current street price of the Panasonic DVD-RV30,...

Nice Player

I have had 3 Panasonic players, and this one has lasted much longer than the previous two. My first one, an A-100, lasted two weeks. It was terrible, so I returned it and exchanged it for the A-110. I had that player for almost a year, and it...

Smart DVD, Smart Choice

We had a Mitsubishi DVD player for a couple of years, a fine machine when it was new, but as the technology matured (and prices fell) it was a bit basic and the picture quality certainly less impressive than the newer machines.

Well thought out, great picture & sound, affordable quality.

Slow response following power on

Start on the Right Foot

About 6 months ago, I bought the A120 at Costco for around $270. Considering the suggested retail price of nearly $400 at the time, I thought it was a steal. Since I was looking for a DVD player as an upgrade from my Sony VCR, I thought at the time...

As close to perfect as you can get!

We bought our DVD player at Christmas time and have been enjoying it ever since. The quality of the movies we watch are much much better then with a VCR! The neat thing about a DVD player is all the neat extras that you get on the disc! Our Panasonic...

This player is great for the money, but doesn't turn me on!!

The Panasonic DVD-A120, while not the best DVD player in terms of mondo features, certainly gives you more than what you pay for. For nearly half the cost of "high-end" players, you'll get nearly the same quality, minus a few nick-nacks that...
