Lasted five years


Worked great for 5 years. Great picture for a 480i. Decent features.

Would lose bookmarks if turned off. Out of date technology/discontinued.

After over 3 years...the HO2 strikes.


Relatively low $, worked well for over 3 years, good pic and sound.

Does not read all regions, sensitive on scratches, HO2!

It includes the popular combination of features known as A-B-C-D - which stands for Advanced Virtual Surround Sound, Bass Plus, Cinema Mode and Dialogue Enhancer - all designed to improve the movie viewing experience. New for 2001 DVD line, one-touch preset buttons for each of the A-B-C-D features are found on the front panel. Also included is a convenient shuttle dial on the front panel and component video outputs. Also new for 2001 is a disc stabilizer system which helps ensure greater compatibility between the player and software discs that may be warped and more difficult to read on other DVD players. The DVD-RV31 is also CD-R/CD-RW playback compatible.
