GOOD PERFORMANCE FOR PRICE.... WITH MINOR RESERVATIONS

I have owned this player now for approximately 6 months and use it with a Loewe Vitros 32" TV. First off, lets be clear that for its current retail of about 110 this is a cheap player for all the formats it offers, including DVD audio and JPEG viewer ...

Good build, nice slim appearance, decent visual performance, inexpensive for facilities offered.

Sound, slight picture softness.

A SUPERB OPTION WHERE PAL PROG SCAN IS NOT REQUIRED

An excellent AV performer, which more than justifies its price tag. Playback PQ really is outstanding - a real notch up the ladder on budget players for budget money.

Superb playback quality - including a useful Cinema mode, which boosts detail and contrast (and actually works!) ; MPEG noise reduction (for poorly encoded sources) ; Video tweaks - gamma, 3D NR + anything else you can think of ; Smooth and quiet...

No SACD playback support ; NTSC prog scan playback only ; Occassional tracking problems with scratched discs ; JPEG viewer not PhotoCD compatible

STILL WAITING

very disappointed about the delivery times. I was told it would arrive within two weeks, but the window had updated leaving me waiting another two weeks! if you want this dvd player do not buy from amazon- unless u are patient
