i purchased this model last year,now it only plays 1st half of disc,yet my samsung blu-ray player,and dv/vcr combo all discs play!what is wrong?

This is a great dvd player, ordered it 30th June and arrived 2 days later. Easy to setup too. The multi-region is so easy too use. And im now in the middle of watching my fav film from when i was a child (hanzel and gretel) A must buy!!!
