Philips DVP3560

Philips DVP3560 is one of the best upscaling DVD players you can buy. It's nice and compact, offers all the best features and does a great job of upscaling DVDs. You will love the USB drive, the HDMI compatibility for easy setup and the broadest media...

This DVD player offers NTSC and PAL compatible disc play in addition to the DivX-compatible USB port

The 90-day parts warranty is a bit below average

With a wide range of compatible media options, the versatile Philips DVP3560 is a great example of what an upconverting DVD player should be.

JUNK!!!!!

don't buy!

looks nice good coaster for laptop

JUNK! plugged it in with a known working hdmi cable, no audio, 90% of the time no video on screen, when there was video it was either heavily pixellated, video was on left half of screen only. changing settings didn't help any as it sporadically worked...

this dvd player is a good buy, I like the fact that it is an upgrade if you have a newer flat screen with HD.

The product came early and in perfect condition. Right out of the box it connected to my receiver without any problems and I immediately played an .AVI file through my stick to see if it worked as well as everyone said on these reviews. Wow! The only...

I love this dvd player!!!!

I love this dvd player! It plays every dvd format that I have. It plays DivX dvds in high Definition, if you have a HDTV connected to it. Sound is very good. It reads USB files also. You can change the screen size of your dvd formatted disc to fill up...

Just short of a blu ray

This will play a lot of different formats. We got it for our motor home as it uses very little energy from an inverter.

Philips DVP3560 DVD Player

I bought this for the usb input. You can play movies from your usb stick provided that you save it as an avi file. It didn't work with the external hard drive. Very Happy with a $45 dvd player and the usb feature.

Great DVD player

If you want a cheap AMD chip this is a pretty good buy, and will overclock to the performance of more expensive chips in the lineup. Plus if you get one that has good unlockable cores you are getting a chip worth another $40-$50

This is a great DVD player. It will play anything. The USB port recognizes all forms of DVIX avi files. I've tried Samsung DVD player with USB port and some Divx avi files were not recognized, so I took it back

I agree that this is slow to respond but with it's ability to play just about any video file, you can overlook it. Not many DVD players can do what this player does

Mainly Features

All in all would buy it again at this price simply because there are not that many units to choose from that feature the 1080i out and USB jack.

USB!!! 1080i. Great picture output. USB "should be" on everything in the market today ; DVD never looked better

HDMI sound works part time. Not a biggy because I run direct to stereo anyway. SLOW response time on just about everything loading ; Other units will find what's on the flashdrive and start automatic. Not this one. You have to tell it what to do
