Easy to use with solid sound

This sound base was recommended to me by the excellent staff in the Bath branch. Alongside the Panasonic TV I purchased, this works effortlessly - simple to set up, and the sound out of the box is a real step up from the TVs own speakers. Bass is well...

Pioneer BDP180

Pioneer and Panasonic are the best when it comes to buying a blu ray players and Receivers. The Pioneer BDP180 I have found to be high quality build and the quality of the picture when watching a blu ray film to be the highest quality by upscaling to...

Good performer, but lacklustre build quality

It was very easy to set up, from the box to watching a film in 5 mins. The sound and picture are very good but I was a little disappointed with the build quality. The player was £170, but had the feel of a much cheaper unit. A flimsy disc drawer and...

Very competent player for the money.

I bought a BDP170 last year for the bedroom and was impressed so I got this one as my main player.Extremely useful that it plays hi-def music formats and is the only brand of player I have found that plays nearly all file formats-very handy. Overall i...

very happy with the product

Would have liked to get the LX 58 but budgetary constraints meant settling for this model, and it's excellent! especially happy with it's performance as a CD player - nice bright sound, better than the admittedly old Cambridge CD6 Player that it has...

Even better than the previous lx54

My lx54 player stopped working about two weeks after the extended guarantee. It is in mint condition & barely used. I wanted another Pioneer player but was not ready to pay £500 for the upper range, so I bought this, delivered on time & free as well....

Minimalist interface but made up for by performance

If you like bright shiny interfaces with lots of icons & the like then this is not the machine for you. However if you don't care about that & are happy to trust the machine knows what's expected of it then look no further. It will play any disc format...

great picture quality , great sound quality , plays majority of formats , 4k compatible , 3d compatible , looks good & solid

oddly blank screen/interface , cheap remote with very small buttons
