Excellent multi region dual format dvd player

Excellent multi region dual format dvd player

This is an excellent DVD player for those looking for a multi-region and dual format (PAL/NTSC) product. The HDMI 1080p upscaling is also a great feature to provide improved resolution without the region/format limitations of Blu Ray players. Highly...

works great

This is my first Amazon review, but I have to testify about this unit. It works great, and anybody who's looked knows these multi-region code-free units are hard to find in the States. So far the machine has automatically adjusted for every code. No...

Not covered by Pioneer warranty

Pioneer does not manufacture or sell multi-region players in the United States. These machines have been modified and re-imported to the US, and are sold without a warranty. Buyer beware.

This is a great option for a region free DVD player. It's small and easy to use. I had no problem with this product. I recommend!

Jerky output when upconverting region 2 DVDs

This unit plays region 2 DVDs just fine at 480i. But it produces a very jerky picture when set to upconvert the image to higher resolution. It was so bad, that I couldn't stand to watch it.
