Protron Silver 2.1 Channel DVD Player - PD-007

This unit is defective right out of the box. I bought two: one for myself, and one for my sister. BOTH UNITS CONSISTENTLY OVERHEAT. Both units skip, shut down, pixelate, and reject various DVDs. Stay away from this one.

The night we hooked it up and tried playing the first dvd, it made really wierd tracking-like lines (as if it was a VCR.) Half the screen would be squiggly, and half clear. The screen would also get dim and then bright again. This happened about 5...

Bought this at HH Gregg for $20 when they had employee family pricing. I wasn't expecting much for the price, so I'm not disappointed. It plays most movies ok. It loads a little slow and the remote is a little stiff. Subtitles don't seem to work...

Seems to play pressed DVDs (purchased movies etc) fine. Only played 1/2 of my DVD-Rs (burned DVDs). Players from other manufacturers played all of my disks. You can get this unit at HHGreg for $30.
