save money in long run

Don't buy this product!

It plays DVDs from all regions and has comprehensive format compatibility

Poor remote reception right out of the box, sometimes you have to put it in front of the unit for it to work. Bought 2 units, one died in about a year and the other died after 6 months

I'm satisfied with mine

There was an issue I had to deal with after I first got mine that had to do with divx files with "packed bitstreams" making the movie jerky but that has been fixed.

Plays everything I've put in it. svcd, vcd. divx, dvd +/-, MP3. I have been using it for over a year now with no problems ; Bought it right here at Newegg

The main con I see is that the remote has to be pointed perfectly in line to work. But overall I'm quite satisfied

Great features, poor reliability & quality.

I got this DVD player from newegg about 6 months ago, and we used it quite a bit, and it would play pretty much whatever I threw at it. I loved the features, the formats it played, and the numerous output options (even VGA!). However, it only lasted 6...

Great player - better than Philips 642

I use this player primarily to play Divx and Xvid files that I download from the internet. It does this very, very well. I also own a Philips DVP-642, and the RJTech unit is far less fussy with playing a wide range of files. At first, some videos...

Great Player, Small Price

Got mine and so far am well pleased. Plays everything I have put in it so far, even the raw VCD files. The counter thing is a 2 second bother but hardly even worth mentioning. Highly recommend and the delivery was flawless.
