Unique Memory Stick slot; solid progressive-scan picture; extra remote; great MP3 performance; excellent value.

Build-quality and playback issues; unresponsive primary remote; no aspect-ratio control; interlace artifacts in 4:3 mode.

Even without a Memory Stick slot, the P721M is a good entry-level progressive-scan player. It has a few flaws, but gadget fans will love its unique tricks.

Good for DVDs only

 

This was a very good deal on a pretty good DVD player. It works fine for DVDs, but I had problems when playing Audio CDs and viewing Photo discs.

Instant Replay Button.Good Remote.

Unreliable Joystick.Audio Problems.Photo CD use is awkward

This solid box does the job

 

I've been using this dvd player for about 8 months I think and it always performs well and never gives me any trouble. The remote is well designed and durable.

This thing rocks!

 

I love this DVD player. I had an APEX before and it was a real pain. It wouldn't play a lot of DVDs and it did not have reverse play capabilities. Apparently many DVDs do not which is very surprising to me. It also has Dolby Digital out. I bought...

Plays all DVDs so far, plays MP3s, progressive scan, nice remote with reverse!

Can't think of any. Maybe just the photoCD requires Kodak imaging software.
