Was cheap at the time I bought it, good sound and picture, headphone jack

Sometimes freezes and/or skips, bad remote control keys' layout, outdated, slow

May still be used as a CD player with either headphones or through a receiver.

Bad Picture for Sharp DVD player


I got this as a gift for my birthday Jan. 2000. I picked out this unit because it had the most bang for the buck and I got it at for $160. So it was at the right price.

Shop carefully before choosing this model


We brought ours at a local discount superstore. WE didn't feel like investing hundreds of $$ so the $180 tag was acceptable.
