Considering the price, this device has far superior video quality than many others I looked at. I think it is great that Sony chose not to include speakers in the actual device, because not everyone else needs to be forced to hear what I am watching....

Maybe my unit is busted? I load a DVD in, turn it on (battery is fully charged) and it takes like 1 minute for the thing to boot up...then stalls from time to time.

Superb Little Tablet dvd

Now i have read the other reviews for this dvd player. I have quite a few portable dvd players including panasonic. sony, and a couple others i wont mention. i also had a coby which i sold as soon as i could. i wont compare this to the clamshell...

Great Product!!

Easy to use features allow hours of convienient fun.. Picture is very clear and viewable from all angles. Compact design makes for superior portability, and speaker stand works great and puts out ample sound.
