Affordable for a Sony ; Good icture and sound

No rog scan ; Uscaling or digital video outut

Bought this item as a gift for my elderly parents, player looks good, and is simple enough for them to use. They were delighted with it.

The DVD box had been opened and resealed at least 2 times and the internal packaging was inadequate and not original. Clearly a second hand product sold as new!

When it comes to electronics Sony leads the way. This DVD player is very simple to use plus a great cost for a multi region player. Now I can play movies I have bought when on holiday in the USA. REcommend to anyone looking for a multi region player.

I'd love to be able to review this product, but it broke after two uses. Wouldn't open or play. When it did work it was slower than I expected given the equivalent Sony model I had for the previous 8 years was fast as lightening, never stuck and also...

very easy to buy, not at all easy to return!! this is not multi-region and when set up it will not play any dvd's at all. will return to germany(!) for full refund. not at all happy with amazon.

Having read previous reviews, I was disappointed to find that my player wouldn't play multi-region DVDs. I will return it for a refund.

This DVD player is NOT multi region. it IS region 2. the picture goes black and white when playing a non-region 2 disc. And Amazon does not have a complaints section, which shows utter disrespect to their customers.

This DVD player is brilliant. It took seconds to install and plays multi region DVDs without making any adjustments. I cannot recommend this enough.
