Product Specifications

Sony's DVP-7700 is incredibly stable, thanks to an anti-resonant chassis in honeycomb configuration and cast-iron isolating feet. The audio section gets its own circuit board of rigid glass epoxy to resist distortions. An R-Core power transformer minimizes hum radiation. Unique to Sony is a smoother fast forward/reverse scan, easily manipulated via the remote jog dial. There's a circuit to reduce noise from digital video, which may be especially helpful for lower-quality DVD transfers. Component video outputs complement your high-end display. And CDs get attention from the 7700 as well, with discrete lasers for DVD and CD, and a variable analog low-pass filter optimizes cut-off frequency for wider frequency response and minimum noise.
