Just died. Never used it that much as we have Netflix, Hulu, SAT, and Family Video. Pretty pathetic. I usually avoid Sony products. Thought I would try this on as I have no desire to sink money into BlueRay. Not my best Choice!

PRO: Compact, economical, works well, nice remote operates TV as well. CON: No batteries for remote, no instructions for basic use, will not allow any operations during commercial content on DVD.

Do not buy this piece of junk. Mine quit halfway through the first movie and would not open to remove the rental DVD. Package did not come with full hookup instructions. No batteries included for remote. I will never take a chance on a refurbished...
