Not many but at least it worked OK for the first six months.

Won't record direct to DVD without first rcording to the Hard Drive. DVD drive unit burnt out after six months use & again after a further six months involving a costly repair. System crashes on a regular basis & has to be re-set causing a loss of all...

HDMI and Scart (in and out) for good connectivity. Good size hard drive. DVD playback excellent. sound quality of Freeview far superior to sky, even on HD channels. Ability to record in long play modes which can still be viewed on other DVD players....

No reminder on programmes only record. Hard drive playback stuttered - contacted Sony who advised a download from their site - now sorted. Picture stutters on initial turn on. Nedd to keep it on standby not to miss any overnight updates.

The Sony is not a particularly bad machine but be aware of one thing. It says it is a Hard Drive recorder and DVD recorder but this is not the case. You can only record directly to the Hard Drive. If you want to put anything onto DVD disc, you have to...

I can cope with a single tuner (I use the TV when recording) - but I can't stand the poor response of this box. You can't flick quickly through channels. Erasing a recording off the HDD can take up to a minute?! It takes ages to start up. If you go...

Have only had this DVD recorder for a while but very satisfied so far. It is very easy to set up. Setting up recording from EPG could not be easier. Only downfall I have found is that it is a bit slow at starting up and tray opening. Very satisfied...

My new Sony gb digital recorder is working well and the features for recording are very good. The ease of recording and playback is good and the facility to pause live viewing and record on is very useful.
