Does everything a Tivo can do without the monthly fee. Plus it burns DVDs you can watch on any DVD player

The no pause was like a car i once had with no ashtray but it had everything else on it so you just get past it and go on.. This recorder has everything else on it I am happy with it as it was a gift so none of my money was used for it but to works great

Unfortunately, my DVD player broke after only 3 months of normal use. At this time, we are waiting for Sony to repair the unit and send it back as we've been told that is our only option. Very disappointing product.

It is new and cabled in , But I cannot get a system menu or anything HELP me if you can. I could work a vcr with my eyes closed but this DVD recorder doesnot work for me HELP HELP

A disappointment

Had this item for just a year and it went out on us...just froze up. Couldn't even get the DVD out that was in it. Unplugged it and let it set for a month or so, when we plugged it back in it reset and worked for about a week and then went out again....
