Opened the box, connected it and turned it on. Job done -tuned itself in,clock was automatically set and away to go. Ignore the majority of buttons on the remote control (which I always do) I'm not sure its because I previously had a Hard drive...

It has its limitations, but if you can see past them the RD99DT isn't without merit.

If you like your recorders to be slick, cutting-edge and packed with multimedia playback features, then the RD99DT probably isn't for you - go and check out the Panasonic DMR-EX89 or LG RHT-497H instead. There's no hard-disk jukebox functionality, it...

I bought this unit to take advantage of the 250 g hard drive and to save on disc purchase's which my older but still in working order dvd recorder bur
