Yamaha DVS5750 DVD Player

Plays everything I've popped into it, NTSC & PAL DVDs, DivX files, JPEG CDs, etc

Some subtitles of DivX files still cut off a bit, and for some DivX files, the video is jumpy and does not sync with the audio

compact and plays well

slow and remote isn't great

I would never recommend this DVD player. My biggest complaint is probably that it broke down in less than 2 years. The buttons are confusing, the return scan impossible at times and worse of all the SOUND SYSTEM is very poor. SHAME on YAMAHA!!!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! Although it is great when it works, it mysteriously breaks down after light to moderate use, without warning, within a year of purchase. The manufacturer's warranty is only 6 months, and they don't cover it unless you bought...

Unfortunately this particular DVD isn't all that great. It doesn't save your spot when it turns off, which is a bigger problem than you think because it turns itself off after being idle for some time. I've also had problems with it not syncing up...
