Very good looking & functional design layout. Nice remote.

Limited format range. Extremely slow loading.

My player keeps getting better and better!

Plays DVD/CD/CDR/MP3CD/VCD at least. Maybe more!

Fear Not Home Entertainment Virgins

I selected this DVD player by reading Epinions. I didn't want to pay a lot of money for a DVD player when I knew I was not building a Home Entertainment Center. Yet, I wanted a multi-disc player. The main attractions were price and ease of...

You get what you pay for

Product Specifications

If your needs are simple and your budget is tight, the Zenith is a good deal. Just realize that you get what you pay for. The Zenith DVC2550 is equipped just as well as its more expensive competitors. There's nothing cheap or cheesy about the DVC2550's appearance; quite the contrary. The coal-gray front panel is attractive and nicely laid out, with a full set of control buttons. There's even a round cursor rocker and Enter key, so you can navigate disc menus without picking up the remote. Moreover, all of the controls are located above the disc door, so they don't disappear when you open the carousel to load or unload discs. The DVC2550's video performance is remarkable: colors are vivid, noise levels are low, and there's plenty of detail.
