More than meets the eye, but a really rough diamond.

I like the Cruz, I think it'll be very handy once I get it tweaked the way I want. I started by replacing both the internal memory with an 8 gig chip, and the external slot got a 16 gig chip. Plenty of storage now, but still the 256M onboard ram...

Portability, price, potential. Easy to read screen, pretty good battery life, very easy wifi connection

Lack of access to app markets, difficulty setting up standard functions like printing. Lack of upgrade path for OS. Hard to install hot apps like Angry Birds, for Pete's sake! Power button is too easy to bump, then you find it dead when you need it

Great multi tasker. If you want an Ipad, buy one.

I highly recommend you charge this everyday. I put mine on the charger every night and it works all day just fine. I also recommend you buy some Nintendo DS stylis's to use with it - they work really well and I have not had any problems with the screen...

This is a great muti tasker. It is an internet surfer, mp3 player, and ereader all in one for only $119.00. I was not familar with apps before I got the Cruz, but if you have a day off and some patience you can set it up just how you like it

No andriod app store capability; however, you can find other places for apps if you just take the time to look around. Also the internet is not super fast, but I did not expect it to be as fast as my laptop or home PC

Considered it, but can't find a working demo model

If even the stores can't get the thing to work properly, there is no reason for me to consider getting one of them.

Don't know of any

There are four Borders stores within a reasonable driving distance of my house. All of them have demo models on display, but I have yet to find one that is working. I keep being told that it is a problem with the charger

Does what it should, don't ask it to do too much!

I'll caveat this review by saying I've only had it for two days. However, in that two days I've come to realize that if people would realize it was designed to be a reader first, Android tablet second, it might sit better with some folks. With that,...

Big Screen. Borders and Amazon Book Readers on One Platform. Android 2.0 OS. Touch Screen

A little heavy. Limited Memory. Battery Life

Worst electronic device I've ever seen!!!

If you want an expensive paper weight - buy this piece of crap. Pay more for a better tablet and save yourself an ulcer. This may wind up in a snow drift before winter is over... because Borders has a no refund policy... wonder why...

Looks great

Slow to no response time even with full battery and 4 bars connectivity. Haven't been able to download Borders ebooks yet. Borders "free" ebooks are a joke, filled up with a gazillion foreign titles. Terrible functionality

Save your Money - Don't buy

Don't waste your money on this product - we bought two for Christmas this year - two days of working on them we still can't get them working properly. If customer service would answer the phone we could see if the product even works. Two thumbs way down.

It looks nice, great concept, however VERY poor product

The touch screen has a VERY poor response - battery life is poor, downloading books would be great if the system allowed you to sign in properly. Calling customer service is wonderful if you don't mind waiting for 30 minutes plus for help

run-on bordersline for $109.99 sale with $

for sale price $149.99 I bit; since borders being shifty-price came down 5 days after purchase and did not offer crdit; had to return refund reorder online; saving about $45 to boot; that's tank of gas

small portable access to email - cruz market-e reader color screen- plays music -link to borders e books-free downloads-sd card slot

resistive touchscreen but has calibration setting; not lightning fast but I wasn't replacing compter-basically over-sized smartphone

Exellent for the price paid

Look... for $199 USD it's almost disposable! If you buy it, sure, something better will come out in a few months, but I think this is a great tablet for the price (that's marketed as an ereader)

Does what it says it will. Nice screen for browsing and watching videos

Can 't connect to the android market. Battery life could be a little bit better
