Easy to get online

Totally impossible to know when you're paying what fees. They don't inform you which charge you're on a different hot spot

The service did work

They promise to charge you once for 24 hour access but the service is a revolving charge that can only be canceled with a phone call. Very dishonest company

They mislead you and charge you without advance warning"

I signed up for a day of wifi at the airport ...

Nothing except that the wifi works

Hidden charges and reps who offer you deals on the phone, but they do not honour those deals. The service never tells you, after initial sign up, when you are doing something that will cost more

I would approach Boingo with a great deal of ...

Boingo is a reasonable service as long as you stay within the confines of continental US. For $9.99, you get unlimited Internet service through almost any hot spot in America. This means that you can jump on at Starbucks without getting a day pass

Boingo's ability to bypass secured connections means that you may unknowingly jumping from "basic" service to "premium" service (each minute costs you $0.12 to $0.18). This happens easily when you travel overseas where everywhere becomes "premium

Reliable, high-speed internet. There were a couple times I wasn't able to connect but problem was resolved in short order. Billing Dept was quick and easy to get ahold of

Subscription service that needs to be canceled before the next subscription period begins

Worked like a charm. Easy to sign up and use. As good as my home wi-fi

No way to cancel account online. This is minor, though, since it was easy to do by phone

absolutely nothing

I am bummed that I paid for this. I am lucky that I can even connect well enough to write this review. Connecting with Boingo at the Detroit airport brings back memories of dial-up internet service with a testy modem
