A surprising find...

A surprising find...

I own the 2 qt, 3 qt, 4.5 qt, and the 6.5 qt Amco stainless-steel mixing bowls. The review below is copied-and-pasted from my review of the 2 qt bowl. The bowls are all basically the same except for (obviously) capacity. One caveat--when I purchased...

All the Amco mixing bowls are top notch

All the Amco mixing bowls are top notch

Great value for such a fine product, as all the Amco mixing bowls are the highest quality, and it's the perfect shape. Sturdy with a half-inch lip makes it easy to hold onto and can be used for anything. I doubled up on the 4- and 6-qt. sizes. ...

Small but sturdy

Small but sturdy

This one is small and is better suited for small quantities. Not very appropriate for liquids, as they would splash out of the bowl, although a couple of beaten eggs can be worked fine in it, as well as a small amount of vinaigrette. For batter or...

A must have in the kitchen!

I have a few of these bowls and they are great for making anything in the kitchen. They clean up really well by hand or just put them in the dishwasher. Buy one or more, you will love them that much!

Very solid medium-sized mixing bowl

Very solid medium-sized mixing bowl

4 qt. is good - 6 qt. is not much bigger

If you are considering both the 4qt. and the 6qt. you should know the 6qt. is only about 1/2qt. bigger than the 4qt. as indicated in other reviews.

Great deal, nice bowl, sturdy construction

Great deal, nice bowl, sturdy construction

While I wasn't willing to plunk down $80 for an overpriced All-Clad mixing bowl, I was looking for a stronger than usual, commercial-style mixing bowl, sturdier than what is typically sold at say, Target or Bed Bath & Beyond. This mixing bowl is easy...

Cool Bowl

Cool Bowl

I never thought I'd gush about a mixing bowl, but this one is great. I bought it as part of a deal with the Whirley Pop popcorn popper and I love this bowl. This is a thicker and heavier stainless steel than all my other bowls. Because it is...

Amco is a commercial line of heavy duty stainless steel products that are used in restaurant and home kitchens. I have a set of less expensive stainless steel bowls, but I packed them away when I discovered the Amco bowls. I like the idea that I can...
