This bowl DOES NOT WORK with the top that lets you chop/Slice/etc. It is only a non-functioning work bowl. Don't know why you'd even want it or need it since it isn't usable with the blades and top. Save money and buy a regular bowl.

When making pastry or scones - the cutting mechanism should be cool to the touch. When using the metal blade, butter tends to melt to quickly. While using the plastic dough blade - no heat is present.
