It does a nice job of grinding and it is not loud. But the cord is hard to wind into the recessed base and gets caught easily. The metal underneath also seems to be chewing the cord when it gets pullout out for use. It is fairly easy to clean. I am not...

You wouldn't want to use this for a high-end espresso machine that demands the finest and most consistent of grinds. But if you can afford a high-end espresso machine, why are you looking at a cheap grinder?? I never had a problem with the button....
