Other reviewers are right. If you don't have this positioned in PERFECT position, it won't work. For some reason, even when I have mine in the right position, sometimes it still won't run. I have to fiddle with it, shake it a bit back and forth....

This works with hot air and no oil. It pops corn without adding anything artificial - which all those microware popcorn products contain - even the so-called "natural" ones. It also melts butter if you want it. It is fun to watch, esp. for the kids....
