Cuisinart DLC-2A Mini-Prep Plus Food Processor

In general, people say this is a sturdy, stable machine that they have used for years. As for noise, professional testers rate its noise level as moderate. Some users find the machine too noisy, but others describe it as quiet, so it seems to be a...

Great Chopper

This is a great mini chopper. The bowl,is plastic, just like all other food processors and easy to clean. Dishwasher safe.

Compact, powerful, cord storage, easy to clean.

Cheap bowl

It can easily be better. Don't buy it if it is more than $20. I can't put more than 3 eggs and I am generous.

Good processor for small quantities of precut items. Ok for garlic, ginger and similar.

Very cheap plastic bowl which looks horrible after a few uses... For sure, it should be in glass!

A faster Processor (for my Computer)

Takes up very little room on my small Kitchen counter. Easy clean up & seems pretty durable so far. This, coupled with my dedicated egg cooker, has me making enviable Egg Salad Sandwiches.

I Never owned a Food Processor & now i would HATE to be without it. Cooking for one is such a hassle as food prep is so time consuming. Not with this thing. It has me eating much less drive-thru, take out & pre-packaged foods, saving me lots of $ that...

Great size for one or 2 folks, but some things have trouble fitting in & need a bit of cutting to get them started (Onions, for example) which is why you have this thing to begin with. My next one will be the next size up.

Don't go with the cheaper ones

I ordered this item Sunday afternoon and it arrived Tuesday of the same week!

I have a child that must eat pureed foods and this is the best one out there. This is my second chopper; my first mini cuisinart lasted 7 years with almost constant use. So, don't go to Walmart for one of the cheaper ones, you will only be wasting your...

I only wish I could purchase extra bowls and blades through this site.

I live in an apt and my kitchen counters are limited and this little mini prep processor is perfect for the spot it is in on the counter. Love it.

Compact but powerful and easy clean up

There's a learning curve as to how many pulses to do to get your foods chopped accordingly without ending up with mush. I do like the compact size, ease of breakdown, cleaning and setup. Again I just wish that you wouldn't have to worry so much in...
