Go for a bigger, better model

Go for a bigger, better model

This is my first food processor I have ever bought, and although it works fairly well, there are some design flaws. The first is that it is too small of a capacity to do much of anything. I have to do about 4-5 "batches" to cut up 1 lb. of mozzarella...

Does a great job, but pretty messy.

Does a great job, but pretty messy.

I like it, it shreds cabbage and carrots in a matter of seconds. Now what I don't like - somehow I end up with cabbage all over my floor. Not sure if it's me or the processor :)

HALF PLEASED

HALF PLEASED

I was so in hopes that this 2 cup Black & Decker mini food processor would be as good as the smaller 1 1/2 cup Black & Decker mini food processor that I had that gave me many of years of use and finally wore out. I purchased this new one and am only...

Let's not pretend that this is something other then what it is

And what it is, is the least expensive multi-function food processor with chute available on Amazon. I've used this product to shred carrots and cheese, chop unions and celery, make sauces, mayonnaise, and scramble my eggs for omelets. It IS small,...

Not happy

Not happy

Very disappointed. Was given the food processor as a gift, waited a year to open it so had no receipt. Made a horrible noise and chunks of mushy cheese when I tried to grate cheese, and now, after using for a couple months less than 10 times total,...

Cheap and deafeningly loud

I bought this to replace an older model, and this one is cheaply made and deafeningly loud. I placed it on the counter and had to take both hands and plug my ears while it pulverized cereal, yes just cereal. Either they crammed too large of a motor...

B and D Mini Pro is too loud!

B and D Mini Pro is too loud!

I owned the first generation of this product and still use it at another residence. It's about 15 years old. This one I am donating to charity. It is so loud, bursting into squeals of high pitched, sonic like noise. The machine does what it professes...

everyone else is right!

everyone else is right!

I agree with what everyone else has written about the short-comings of this food processor. I had high hopes and was ever so excited to use it and to have less space taken up. WHOA! what a mess! It went right back to the store.

Wish it did what it was supposed to

Wish it did what it was supposed to

I bought this to see if I would use a food processor enough to upgrade to a bigger, more powerful unit. I was excited to find that this small processor would shred and slice since most this size don't. This would have been great had it actually done...
