Excalibur Dehydrator Review: The Ultimate Home Jerky Machine

If jerky, dried fruit, and dried vegetables aren't dietary staples for you, they should be. Enduring edibles are equally handy on camping trips, in an office, or on your couch in your underwear. For 20 years, the Ronco Food Dehydrator has been my...

The $450, all-plastic, nine-tray version with the timer and variable heat is a solid buy, provided you’ll actually use it. The stainless steel doesn’t add enough value to justify the additional money and weight.

Impressive machine

The D902SHD is a heavy unit. With heavy stainless steel mesh trays, stainless steel lid and side panel, it looks and feels solid. One of the trays was faulty in the box - the vendor replaced immediately. The 9 trays can take a significant amount of...

Good drying

Heavy (if you want to move it around)

Love it

way. About 2 years ago I started juicing with a slow press juicer (Hurom), it doesn't create as much pulp as a masticating or centrifugal juicer but it does still leave pulp. All that wasted pulp! Wanting to use as much pulp as possible I decided to...

Performance- it does what it says it does and it does it well. Slide in and removable trays. Capacity. Temperature control. Easy to use and really easy to clean.

Nothing.

Love this machine - huge, great airflow and quiet

Best dehydrator on the market

I replaced my sunbeam dehydrator with this machine after I got sick of the round hole in the middle trays, this machine is fantastic, I use it roughly 2-3 times per week. Dries much more evenly and seems to be faster as well. I recommend the timer...

Quiet, timer, even drying, great!
