Yes it "holds three cups", but what it doesn\'t tell you is that you can\'t put half of that amount in there of anything liquid or the centrifugal force will force everything to the top and spill out, therefore you can only really fill it half way up...

I use this quite a bit and it saves a lot of time. Large chunks don't get chopped up, sometimes get stuck, although blades never quit. Cooked chicken is easy to make into chicken salad and veggies chop in seconds. Makes great graham cracker crumbs...
