Followup

I have been using this coffee grinder every day for 2+ years, and haven't had a single problem.

Just keeps working. I've had this for more than 2 years now and have had zero problems.

None.

The Best Home I Have Ever Had Also

Beats the hell out of grocery store grinders, and you don't have to worry about the previous person grinding some flavored milk toast caca.

Works like a champ. Grinds very fine for espresso. I like my coffee strong, and this fills the bill. For regular drip coffee I find myself using 25% less than using the finest setting with grocery store grinders.

As others have said, "A bit noisy". I have to prepare the coffee the night before so as not to disturb the little woman in the morning.

Short life span!

Got it for free as a Christmas present.

As mentioned, I received this grinder as a gift in December 2010. Now as of 3/13/2011, the unit no longer powers on. I had only used the unit twice since I've owned it!

Great for drip coffeemakers and espresso.

If you're getting this for espresso in particular, then it is perfect. For a drip coffeemaker i'd recommend using one of the last two settings. If you use a french press this might not grind coarse enough for you.

It's quieter than any other grinder I've owned. It gives consistent results. It is compact, sturdy, and easy to clean.

I find all but the last two grind settings to be very fine. I feel the bean container could stand to have a higher capacity, but it's adequate.

The Best Home Grinder I Have Ever Had

I have wanted a burr grinder for a long time, but usually they cost around $200. This is a great value and I am very happy with my purchase.

It is relatively quiet, gives a perfect even grind, has great grind and cup number settings and doesn't add extra heat to your already roasted beans. Use some cold filtered water and you will be surprised at the difference. No more bitter taste and no...

Occasionally the beans will get "stuck" when using a finer setting, just give it a little shake to get them going again
