After about the second use, the drink that came out of it had a strange dark tinge. Looking closer, and trying it out with water, I discovered it was leaking some sort of grease or oil into the drinks. Not at all impressed.

I use this blender for a half year now and never had a problem with it. It blends everything perfectly. The only reason why I give 4 stars is cause the lid will not come off easy.

I bought this blender about 3 months ago after a series of poor unreliable blenders. So far, this has performed well in regular use for soups and smoothies. It is pretty robust and reasonably powerful and an excellent price.
