Very, Very LOUD (you can probably hear it from there)

 

November 5th will be the 6th service call on my Amana French door model which we purchased at American Electronics. Within three days of owning this model the store replaced it due to the loud noise whenever it would cycle on and off. Then all was fine...

Love the French door. Owned one for 20 years but it was outdated.

Hate the noise! It gets on my nerves.

Beware - Defective fan design - keeps failing, after warranty expires.

 

Purchased June 2005. Did not buy the extended warranty as a good product should last a few years. In 6 mos. (12/05) the small fan which blows cold air from the bottom freezer to the refrigerator compartment failed. Freezer worked fine, but we lost the ...

Big, handy access and shelves.

Manufacturer does not stand behind defective parts which fail twice in 16 months.
