Amazing performance, better price.

Fans, much like PSUs, either work or they don't. These work, Plain and simple. The fact they are whisper quiet is a plus. For $10 these are a bargain.

Silent, even on 100 ; Move huge amounts of air ; Looks nice

Cord could be a touch longer

Excellent Fan!

I like it so much I'm replacing the other two default fans in my Fractal R5 with these!

Very affordable considering the performance ; Less noise and more airflow than the default fans in my Fractal Design R5

No cons yet after a few months of use

Interesting results... top mount

Prolimatech could have at least mentioned that this fan is better suited for radiator cooling use. System temps seems lower when mounted as such.

I just wanted to clear up what I said earlier. This fan is actually much quieter when mounted HORIZONTALLY rather than vertically like in a side panel. I never would have realized this had I not tested a hunch of mine as my case does not have a proper...

I can't recommend this fan for a vertical/side panel mount, the motor makes a high pitched noise like its rubbing against the sleeve bearing

Good airflow but could be quieter

For the price I expected as much, but cutting down on the cost of not using LEDs, they could have optimized the fan blades to reduce noise and improve cfms.

A 140mm fan is often used for the side panel so it needs to have a lot of CFM. If you have an older high end graphics card that gets very hot like a GTX 275, this 140mm fan will lower the temps another 5-10 celsius vs not having a fan located there....

Mounting this fan vertically on the side panel it tends to be the noisiest fan in the system. Sounds more like 30dB, not 18dB. I don't know if thats due to turbulence from side grill or the sleeve bearing at higher rpms. If I lower the fan speed it...

Works in push-pull radiator

These fans have reasonably long and sleeved cables though my needs did not require sleeves (consider wiring eighteen fans in a limited space). I also did not need/want led's. Also, if you like a clean look, you can easily peel the brand sticker off of...

I needed eighteen 140mm fans to use in push-pull for my MO-RA3 420 radiator. With so many fans the price per fan is a very significant factor. I took a chance on the Blue Vortexes because the reviews were on balance good and were very inexpensive. So...

quiet replacement for 120mm fan

Installed on the side door panel of my HAF 912, replacing a CM 120mm fan. Brought my GPU temps down 1 to 2c - awesome improvement for $9.99.

low price for a nice quiet 140mm fan - no LEDs

none that i can think of yet

Great fans, terrible screws

I'm still giving it 5 stars because although it was kind of a pain to install, these fans are the reason my case is usually with 2 degrees of ambient.

The blue look is pretty nice ; Low sound, high airflow; I can turn these to max in a Nanoxia DS1 and I hear my water pumps over these

The screws...where to start ; First, the screws are a shade too big. The threading is also way too loose; Prolimatech definitely could have threaded these tighter. The most annoying thing is the mounting points aren't prethreaded, so either you have a...

Case fan

It was mentioned that this fan can be undervolted for slower speeds, but I don't think that is all that necessary when it's only running about 1100 RPMs.

For a one speed fan it moves the bulk of the hot air out through the top of my case. QUIET! Looks great through fan grills. Easy to install, like most standard case fans

One speed might be a con for some, but I don't mind it
