Franklin Chef FIM35

Isn't it fun when you go to a hotel that has a big icemaker? Fill up the bucket for ice cold drinks all night, and load up the cooler when you're taking off the next day. Indeed, it's fun and convenient to have a constant and ample supply of ice, so...

excelent product for my type usage

i'm a building contractor, so I use about 15 or 20 lbs. of ice every day. I use some in my cooler some in my water cooler and some around the house. The machine works great so far, it would be nice if it kept made ice in a freezer compartment, but for...

Built In next to my fridge

I have a Franklin beverage refrigerator that looks great next to this ice maker. It makes a good amount of ice and it is very quiet (for an ice maker). My only complaint is that the stainless front scuffs easily.

Doesn't Store the Ice! It all melts!

Makes nice ice, but it all melts unless you scoop it out and put it in your freezer! Crazy! Manufacturer doesn't see a problem with this! Additionally, the ice is so watery, that when you put it in your freezer, it freezes together into one big cube!

Cheap

Won't keep ice frozen

Good price...good ice....but.....

For the price it makes ice, but what it doesn't do is keep it. You must manually empty the ice container of melted ice every couple of days

Makes good ice

Slow and Steady

It's a little flimsier in design than my last ice maker, but it has been very reliable so far and it works without a hitch. I would recommend it. At the price, you cannot beat it.

Value price clear ice maker

I have been looking for a counterhigh clear ice maker for a long time. Most units are priced much higher. This Franklin unit is one I could afford and it works graet. It fits right next to my built in stainless fridge.

Good Value

Clear ice at a reasonable price

Most clear, counter high ice makers are close to $1,000 - See Uline or Marvel. This Franklin unit is good quality and is much more reasonable.
