today is the 11 nov 2010 my fridge was instaled on 17 may 2008 and it died this morning... if you really want to purchase a product that will last less than 18 months then this is the right product for you!!!

Suspect reliability, have taken a chance due to cost. Previous purchase lasted 4 years and was cheaper to replace then repair.

Did find the old one could be a bit noisy, but only noticed when it was at night (ie no other noise) and I was sleeping in the room that backs onto it. Then again, I am a bit sensitive to electrical appliance noise, and it's official noise evaluation...
