Like the trigger handle, drawers are easy to open. In spite of the warnings that it may make strange noises it is a lot less noisy than our previous (JL) freezer, which in fairness was rather old!

This product is as described, the top shelf is small because of the design but still useful with some deep drawers in the middle.
