Fuse Will Blow Out every 2 Years

I used to love this item, but I have had it for only 2 1/2 years. I came home to have found the fuse on the motherboard had blown. It's not a fuse to where you can just replace it, you have to replace the entire motherboard. To fix it??? You will spend around $350 and as high as $500 for a new board & installation. The worse part? It will only last another 2 years until you will have to replace it again. It's not worth buying this item if you have to keep replacing it every 2 years.

Easy to use

LG LFC23760SW Review (refrigerator/freezer, french style, smooth white) - Refrigerators

Although we are happy with the style and function of the refrigerator and Freezer,

Smaller design French Door Model fits in tighter spaces which was what we required

The ice maker is trouble. Cubes fall to back of Freezer when you close the freezer compartment door. Some then fall out onto the floor. I have had to have this machine serviced twice in the first few months. No success and now the ice machine died

LG LFC23760SW Review (refrigerator/freezer, french style, smooth white) - Refrigerators

The left door gasket tore after 13 months. Warranty is for 12months. Today (22 months after purchase) it stopped working, no lights, nothing. After looking on the internet I found out there is a fuse in the rear panel on a circuit board. Trouble is...

Fits in a tight space. Keeps constant temperature. Makes plenty of ice

Ice maker shutoff arm rakes some of the ice down the back of the lower basket when the lower basket is pulled out. Poor gasket design on the doors. Noisey

LG LFC23760SW Review (refrigerator/freezer, french style, smooth white) - Refrigerators

There is definitely a problem with model # LFC23760SW. It does not cool properly. Customer service is not the best. They didn't even have on file that they replaced the fridge in august. I will NOT by another LG product in the future.

I like the size. It is not a behemoth. The freezer on the bottom and the french doors are what I wanted. The actual size was why we bought it. Other brands were too large for the space we had. I had read good reviews of LG so we bought it

We bought it in April of 2009 and it began to fail in July 2009. Several repairmen later they finally replaced the Fridge in August 2009 siting a refrigerant leak in the case. Nov 2009 #2 began to fail and we are working out issues right now

LFC23760 - Defective, Planned Obsolecense?

Overall the ergonomics are great, top fridge, bottom freezer. It meets all the user functionality expectations I had when I bought it. French doors work great when you have limited space in the kitchen. I'd suggest placing your tall items (milk, ...
