Fancy a new fridge? Have six grand? Then, behold, the Samsung Chef Collection Refrigerator, model RF34H9960S4. Priced well above anything else offered by the top manufacturers, the Chef Collection fridge is as high-end as refrigerators come -- at least...

Samsung's Chef Collection fridge is the largest and most feature-rich model we've ever tested. The gorgeous design manages to live up to the steep $6,000 price tag.

Though steady in our tests, the Chef Collection fridge wasn't able to outperform less expensive refrigerators in our cooling tests. Also, you need to open the door in order to access the controls.

We've seen slightly better performance from less expensive models, but this luxury fridge feels appropriately luxurious, and its features can't be beat. Covet accordingly.

The sparkling systems and ice maker do not work

 

It would take too long to explain my entire experience but in summary the sparkling system never worked from the beginning. I had several service calls until they finally replaced the system. After the serviceman finished he said "if this doesn't work...

I EXPECTED MORE LIGHT, IT'S A PRETTY FRIDGE BUT SPACE IS POORLY LAID OUT. THE DOOR STORAGE IS SO NARROW THAT YOU CAN HARDLY USE IT. NO SPACE FOR LARGER LOWER DOOR STORAGE IS UNUSABLE WE MANAGED TO KEEP SMALL BOTTLES OF COKE IN THEM BUT NOTHING ELSE...

Terrific product

 

Great unit, the only model I have found that has freezer shelves instead of usual buckets. The only suggestion I would have is to have a build-in paneled version available.
