Whilst the Sandstrom SFF4DS11 is slightly more expensive than other fridge freezers on the market, as a compromise between a small traditional fridge and a big American one it’s a good solution.

Reasonable capacity

The door mechanism failed within 8 months of delivery, closely followed by the fridge itself on 19th November 2012 - could not maintain a cool enough temperature. This was within the 12 month warranty period. Engineers attempted to fix it three times...

Smaller than other American fridger/freezers with the exact freezer and fridge space I wanted. Fits perfectly. Stylish interior design- looks exactly like the picture.

Overall measurement 3cm deeper than stated so had to remove the appliance doors to get it through the room doorway. Not everyone would be able to do this. Fairly noisy but manufacturers instruction manual says this is due to introduction of CFC free...

Looks great and has lots of storage for extra stuff, like cheeses and sauces.

Noisey and the doors need a good push to close, am used to a small push and the door closes and sticks to the magnets but this one acutually needs a proper push, so the alarm is alway going off to tell me its not shut!!!

Noisy. Could do with more room in the freezer. The doors are proving to be an issue; you need to be aware to close them properly. As far as design goes- it's a pain to have to open both doors of the fridge to access the hanging draw.
