Scotsman 15 Luxury Consumer Ice Machine

This item replaced a 10 year old Kitchen Aid ice maker. Installation was easy. Ice is clear and delicious. Kept up with 3 large holiday parties. I would highly recommend this product.

Quiet and efficient.

Great product. Slightly overpriced but you get what you pay for.

I've got two, the bar has an SM18-1, a 32 year old unit and the kitchen has the 'new' one, a DC33, at only 23 years old. Both operate flawlessly, churning out loads of perfect ice, but it takes maintenance, familiarity and a small parts inventory....

This machine has been one service call after another. I should have learned from my mother's history with the Scotsman--hers was a service problem too. If you have hard water don't waste your time! The ice melted quickly as well--leaving drinks watered...

Whatever you do, don't buy this product. It is very expensive and rarely works. There is always a problem just when you need it most. Every time I have had company I have had to use the ice machine in my fridge. Either it isn't producing ice or the ice...
