Definitely NOT quiet

 

The CR2160's compressor may be quieter than other brands but the whistling noise of water coming into the unit is unbearable. A factory trained repairman for U-line told me that this was normal. U-line has definitely dropped the ball on this one.

I would buy this product again [...]

 

Replaced old unit with this one. The best ice maker on market for home and bar use I think. Lots of storage and produces lots of ice.
