Broken door handle

 

Door handle on the fridge section of the refrigerator has snapped. We have contacted local repair appliance centre but they advise that they are unable to get a replacement handle and we will just have to purchase a new fridge. How poor is this when...

rusting

 

it dont freeze properly and it starting to rust i brought it in november 2011 and within 5 months the stainless steele doors are starting to present with rust spots lighs go on and off and westinghouse is giving us the run around very very dispointed...

We've had this fridge for around 7 years now. What started out as a very nice fridge, all gleaming and new didn't last very long. Not far out of warranty, timer switch went (losing food contents as well.) Fixed that, then another issue (forget now the...

Size, reasonable price for large fridge, fridge shelves contain spills, lots of space. Seals still in good condition.

Reliability is rubbish, front kick panels always breaks, poor temperature regulation, expensive to run.

Terrible

 

As I speak, I have a service technician replacing the compressor on it, we purchased it 3 years and although we have found out that the compressor is covered under a 5yr manufacture warranty, we still have to pay for labour and they do not cover food...

It looks pretty, thats about it!

The freezer shelves were made too narrow and so when there is some weight on them, they collapse!

Terrible

 

will never by another westinghouse appliance as you would expect it to last longer than 4 years when it cost so much in the first place

looks good, lots of space

shelves broke, cracks in back wall, repair people say due to use of chemicals in cleaning - have never used anything but dish detergent and hot water. fridge now freezers have been quoted $800 to fix

Terrible

 

Unhappy camper. We have only owned this fridge for about 5 years. The fridge heating element now trips the power off, and will most likely cost us about $900 to fix. NOT HAPPY ELECTROLUX. If thats how long an Electrolux fridge costs (after the $1,500...

overall it is a great fridge / freezer. I would recommend it to any one. I did have a problem with it to start with, but they were fantastic to deal with and re-inbursed me for the cost of my lost food. There is plenty of freezer space & the freeze has...

excellent size, each shelf has it's own cool air vent so it doesn't matter where you store food, excellent compartments and one of the vegie crispers can be converted to a neat freezer if you need extra space

they have plastic shelves on the doors, one of mone broke. There is a kick panel at the bottom of the fridge & my kids stand on it and it is always coming off

Excellent

 

We bought this fridge 6 years ago and have always been happy with it. The seal on the fridge now needs replaceing but I'm guessing that is from us trying to open it right after shutting the freezer so you have to wrench on it.

We never run out of space in this fridge. You can load up the shelves in the fridge side with lots of heavy items without problems.

The shelves in the freezer are terrible. The plastic bit on he front of the wire shelves always come off (we have now thrown them away), and they are always falling down. The temprature can sometimes be hard to regulate. A bit of a nightmare when...

OK

 

First time fixed on the spot, but this time have to wait a week to get a new compressor, needless to say that I am without a fridge for a whole week. Thankfully we took out extended warranty. Will not purchase again.

Looks good and works well.

Compressors don't do very well. After 1 year of purchasing, compressor went, and now again the compressor has gone. Twice in 4 years is not good.
