Microsoft Xbox 360

Microsoft crafts a console that has more power than most games can use, and we can't wait for them to try.

Gorgeous graphics and immersive audio provide a splendidly realistic gaming experience. Capable of using wireless controllers right out of the box. Excellent media management and playback. Great collection of launch titles.

Another bulky console from Microsoft. Game prices increase to $59.99.

For those of you who are trading up from the original Xbox, you'll be happy to know you can play most existing Xbox titles on the 360, including Halo. Unfortunately, Microsoft includes no instructions on how to transfer saved games from an original...

Microsoft Xbox 360

7 years after its launch, the Xbox 360 may be the oldest of the current generation of games consoles, but thanks to a series of updates by Microsoft, it's still a gadget that you'd want to buy today. As well as its formidable gaming capability, it...

The Xbox 360 is a lot more than just a games console. Movies, TV, music and the internet are all available through a single box, making the Xbox an all-round entertainment platform for the family.

Microsoft Xbox 360

As the Xbox 360 finally breaks cover in the UK, Riyad takes it for a little joy ride.

Of course when the original Xbox appeared, the PlayStation 2 already had a very strong hold on the market, and if there’s one thing that I’ve realised about PlayStation users, it’s that they’re brand loyal to the point of fanaticism – much like many...

Microsoft Xbox 360 HD DVD player review: Microsoft Xbox 360 HD DVD player

Microsoft Xbox 360 HD DVD player

Excellent image quality on HD DVDs; decent upscaling on film-based DVDs; HDMI output when used with Xbox 360 Elite or newer Premiums; relatively inexpensive compared with standalone models; can access advanced multimedia features, just like standalone...

Can't decode or pass advanced Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, or DTS-HD soundtracks; no analog multichannel outputs; more expensive than a standalone HD player if you don't already own an Xbox 360; adds more bulk and cables to your 360 setup.

The Xbox 360 HD DVD player is an inexpensive way for 360 owners to get high-def movies, but nonowners and audiophiles should stick with standalone HD players.

First off I love the xbox ten fold compared to the ps3. Better graphics and more user friendly. Also the online play is broadband vs. dial up when you compare it to ps3s bull they try to feed you ; They really fixed alot of heating issues and the red...

Sometimes when I dont mean to I open the disk drive and turn of the sstem cause the buttons are so touchy. But I can live with it

Awesome edition

Awesome graphics on both the console and controller. Sounds aren't for everyone, but I think they are pretty cool, and I'm not even a big GoW fan ; HD is decently sized, and the latest gen Xbox works as expected

None so far
