Ultimate Spider-Man on GameCube

The Web Slinger falls a little short

The game also has a knack for non-sequiturs: too frequently, the game will show the player a sequence of objects that must be used to complete a task but without making it clear what needs to be done. One of the most glaring examples of this is in the...

Ultimate Spider-Man

Ultimate Spider-Man is the latest installment in Activision's highly successful Spider-Man series of action-adventure games. Unlike the last two Spidey games, however, this one is not based on a movie but rather it is a part of Marvel's Ultimate...

-No Nudity (-0 pts) - No Sexual Content (-0 pts) Surprisingly, considering this is based on a comic, the few female characters that exist are well clothed. The male characters wear tight spandex underwear (also known as ?superhero costumes?), but all...

Ultimate Spider-Man

Spider-Man 2 was a great movie, but a big disappointment as a PC game. Ars takes Ultimate Spider-Man out for a webspinning to see if things have improved at all.

A truly multiplatform release. Same game on the consoles and PC, Distinctive art style, Awesome cut scenes and writing, A good assortment of stars from the comics, PC version US$20 less than the console version

Repetitive side quests and races, Less complex web slinging and fighting from the last game, Can be finished fairly quickly

Ultimate Spider-Man

Ultimate Rental.

The visual style is flat-out amazing ; Web-swinging and power-jumping is just as fun as you'd think ; More cameos than you can shake a stick at ; An overall satisfying experience

Laughable length ; Repetitive level design

Still, even with this extra thrown your way, there isn’t much incentive to continue playing – it simply feels old by the time you’ve completed the story mode. This is a good game for comic fans, there’s no doubt about that, but it’s simply too short to...

Ultimate Spider-Man

Ultimate Spider-Man has a singular style that catapults it beyond your average, run-of-the-mill action title. Its graphics are really quite astounding in the way they so closely resemble a comic book. Both the exaggeration and the unrealistically...

Ultimate Spiderman: Total Mayhem - Tech2

Total Mayhem is an utter blast, fusing a very intuitive and responsive combat system with some good old-fashioned platforming.

Virtual Toy Soldiers on the rampage!

Let’s face it, just about every little boy played with those plastic army men, they were so damn cool. So many poor plastic sods around the world met a gruesome end at the hands of children. I stood the little suckers on hot plates, burned holes in...

Nice ideas, Great weapons to blow bits off the plastic enemies

Sluggish controls, Choppy framerate, lacks long term appeal

Great, if you love marvel games, rent this!

This is probably one of the best spiderman games i have ever played, because you get to play as spiderman and venom, venom is the best because you can jump really high/far and consume people. Great game to play if you like playing as the villian.
