World of Goo

Puzzle games are rarely as emotional, funny, and engaging as World of Goo. In its understandable core, you'll just build structures by connecting living goo balls-the circles latch out arms to grab their close-by neighbors, creating elaborate...

Creative, fundamental building puzzle. Off-kilter story and humor hung over puzzle foundation. Extra ways to play after finishing the game. Vibrant art conveys emotion. Works great on midrange and older Macs. Bug-free in our sessions when playing in...

Have to change a hidden file to play at higher resolutions than 800 by 600 pixels, which can cause a temporary visual bug

World of Goo's funny, emotional story and solid puzzle premise form an excellent, unique game.

Review: World of Goo

World of Goo is a trippy puzzle game that pushes your knowledge of physics to its gooey limits in a post-modernistic setting. Fun, quirky, and highly-addictive, World of Goo is one of the most entertaining puzzle games to come to the Mac in years.

Clever gameplay ; challenging ; entertainingly weird

Soundtrack can be irritating ; lackluster multiplayer

Divided into five chapters and a loose story about a World Goo Corporation that transforms the self-aware Goo into things like beauty cream, World of Goo has hours of amusing, challenging, and just plain weird missions to play through

The PC indie title hits Nintendo's Wii Ware platform - hooray!

An intelligent, innovative, ingenious and beautifully designed action/puzzle game. Whether you have a PC or a Wii, you need to get your hands on some Goo.

This brings back good memories I have of my last free summer I had before I started working; I bought World of Goo with the #macheist bundle, and played it a lot of the next few months. You have no idea how much happiness it gives me to have this on...

Great fun!

Loved this game on PC and have actually beat most of the levels multiple times. The iPad version is even more fun since it adds a new level of difficulty with touch coordination. The multiple-touch is a nice feature unique to iPad and could never be...
