Navigon 40 Premium

Does Navigon's new naming strategy come with groundbreaking new features?

At under £200 for a sat-nav with maps of Western Europe and some Eastern European countries, plus traffic updates, the Navigon 40 Premium is good value. It's not such great value that it entirely distinguishes itself from the Garmin, Mio and TomTom...

Navigon 40 Premium

The Navigon 40 Premium GPS may be small in size but it packs the punch of a much larger device.

The Navigon 40 Premium is one of the most impressive GPS's on the market today, giving users an easy-to-use, no hassles GPS equipped with a plethora of features that they can use to quickly get from A to B without having to pop out the old SA road map.

Navigon 40 Premium review

With satnavs becoming increasingly complex, but also needing to hold off the challenge from the smartphone, Navigon are the latest manufacturer to refine the process and bring enhanced navigational aids to the table.

Navigon 40 Premium

An excellent device of German make, superior to equivalent TomToms or Garmins.

A very worthy competitor to UK mainstream options.

This is a fantastic bit of kit. My trust in my decision to try something that wasnt mainstream in the UK, but boasted many more features for its price-point paid off.

Who needs a taxi when you have a personal guide?

Fantastic, what can I say?

Bad service arrangement, speakers failed after 5 months

The speaker failed after 5 months. Scratchy sound or drops out altogether. Which raises questions about build quality. Service, anyway in Sweden, is also not really acceptable - N. insists on customer first re-loading factory software (erasing all...

SatNav as it should be, fast, accurate and with good set of features

I have selected Navigon 2 years ago over TomTom and and other brands, and I am very happy about my decision. I had a 2150max model before and it did it's job pretty well. The only negatives were a) you could not select a route without specifying the...
